Daphne Denham, MD
Dr. Daphne Denham is a General Surgery Specialist practicing wound care and concussion treatment with hyperbaric oxygen therapy in clinics in Northbrook, Illinois and Fargo, North Dakota.
Dr. Denham graduated with honors from the University of Louisville School of Medicine in 1993. She has more than 26 years of diverse medical experience, notably in General Surgery and is considered the country’s leading clinician on the use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat brain injury.
Watching her children in their various sports and knowing the timing and cascade of concussive injury while seeing what hyperbaric oxygen does for swelling, inflammation and tissue damage, Dr. Denham takes a proactive approach to treating head and brain injuries.
Since 2015, Dr. Denham has been TREATing concussions. In Summer 2018, she expanded her Northbrook, IL based clinic to Fargo, ND because she was given an opportunity to provide greater objective data demonstrating how well her protocol works. Through her clinics, Healing with Hyperbarics, Dr. Denham hopes to change the protocol for concussions from management to treatment. In addition, she is currently involved in clinical trials on hyperbaric oxygen therapy for COVID-19 patients.
